Overview
Seeking a dynamic highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller for Upstate Roofing and Painting to join our finance team. The Controller will be responsible for the accurate and timely presentation of financial results, effective cash management and ensuring effective system controls over accounting transactions, accounting systems, company policies and processes. This role requires a strong background in accounting and finance, as well as excellent analytical and leadership skills.
Duties
•Manage the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and full compliance.
•Oversee budgeting processes, including the development and monitoring of budgets to ensure financial goals are met.
•Prepare detailed financial reports for management, highlighting key metrics and trends to inform decision-making.
•Supervise accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections while maintaining strong customer relationships.
•Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
•Conduct technical accounting research to address complex accounting issues and provide solutions.
•Collaborate and work closely with all departments to coordinate project updates, understand project statuses, modify forecasts, and building/presenting new tools and reports to assist the team.
•Utilize with ERP system implementations, to streamline financial operations and reporting processes.
Skills
•Proficient in budgeting and financial management practices.
•Strong ability in financial report writing with attention to detail.
•Solid understanding of technical accounting and financial principles.
•Experience with ERP system implementations preferred; ability to fine tune and execute changes as a result of a new system or enhancements.
•Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
•Strong leadership abilities with experience managing finance teams effectively.
•Strong working knowledge of Excel.

Pay: $129,343.00 - $170,100.00 per year
