•Work closely within the management team to formulate annual budget
•Daily entry of accounting and financial transactions into the general ledger
•Perform analysis of Company accounts and determine adherence to Company budget
•Produce management reports of key statistics to assist owner and managers in monitoring the business
•Manage outside reporting to government agencies for sales tax, payroll and payroll taxes
•Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial statements for internal and external users
•Work closely with outside Accountants/Consultants retained by CAB for income tax, payroll services and financial statement reporting preparation
•Formulate accounting procedures manual and appropriate segregation of duties for all employees to follow
•Other duties as assigned
Skills
This position requires a combination of education and experience working with a team of professionals dedicated to quality and customer service.
•Minimum four-year accounting degree from an accredited post-secondary program
•5+ years' experience managing the accounting and general ledger for a $10 million Company
•Knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting
•Familiar with generally accepted accounting principles and financial statements for manufacturers
•Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment with internal management team, outside financial consultants and owner
•Proficient with Microsoft office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point etc.
•Familiarity with Accounting Software JOBBoss a plus
This is an hourly position with a comprehensive benefit package.
40-hour work week.
