Trinity Safety Company’s Controller position is a senior-level accounting role responsible for managing several areas of the company’s financial operations. The Controller is responsible for a number of accounting roles as well as payroll, human resources, and office management. The ideal candidate would excel in critical thinking, and be a self-motivated individual who thrives in a challenging and dynamic work environment.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for our Senior Management staff on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Accounting Operations: Manage daily accounting functions, such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, the general ledger.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax laws, and relevant federal, state, and local regulations alongside of our CPA’s office.
- Team Management: Supervise and manage the Administrative Staff alongside our Operations Manager.
- Payroll / Human Resources: Prepare bi-weekly payroll for company, along with manage the comprehensive Paychex platform.
- Company Management: Prepare and adhere to annual insurance and various licensing renewals.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related Field
Proven Experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, specifically Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Experience with month-end/year-end close procedures and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft program skills.
Proven Experience in Quick Books Online, and Paychex Flex
