Now, we’re looking for a Controller to join our leadership team in Houston, Texas. This is a high-impact role for a strategic finance professional who thrives in dynamic environments and wants to help shape the future of energy.

What You’ll Do:

· Lead all accounting operations—billing, A/R & A/P, general ledger, cost & inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.

· Deliver accurate, timely financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP.

- Help develop and deliver the ERP system (MS Business Dynamics).

· Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

· Develop and maintain internal controls and financial compliance.

· Collaborate with department heads on budgeting, forecasting, and planning.

· Oversee audits, tax filings, and relationships with external advisors.

· Support strategic initiatives like M&A, capital investments, and financial modeling.

· Mentor and lead the accounting team, fostering growth and accountability.

· Optimize ERP systems and financial tools for efficiency.

· Provide financial insights to guide executive decision-making.

What You Bring:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).

· 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a senior finance or Controller role.

· Experience in energy or manufacturing is a strong plus.

· Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance.

· Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software.

· Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Work Environment:

· Office-based role with standard desk/computer work.

· Occasional lifting of office supplies (up to 20 lbs).

Pay: $170,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
