GreenKey Solar is a fast-growing renewable energy development firm headquartered in Portland, Oregon. We are tackling the climate crisis head-on by developing utility-scale renewable energy projects in key growth markets. This candidate needs to be located in Portland, Oregon and able to commute into our North Portland office at least twice a week.

As the Controller, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring the financial foundation of the company is solid and well managed. You will play a hands-on role in all accounting processes and will have exposure to senior leadership.
- Oversee all aspects of the accounting department's daily operations, including accounts payable and general ledger.
- Manage the monthly and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
- Prepare and present consolidated financial statements for management and stakeholders.
- Manage multiple audit engagements and serve as the main point of contact for external auditors.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
- Take ownership of special projects as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience. Some public accounting experience at a large regional or Big 4 firm is preferred.
- CPA certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong Excel skills and general tech-savviness.
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving company.
