Control Panel Technician

We are looking for a detail-oriented Control Panel Shop Technician I with experience in assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels. Proficient in interpreting blueprints and schematics, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and contributing to team success in fast-paced environments. This position participates in a 4/10 schedule !

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assemble, terminate, and wire electrical panels and electrical boxes using the specified tooling and approved workmanship standards, including complete installation into enclosure.

- Perform point to point wiring on a variety of electrical panels and power distribution electrical boxes; using company supplied hand tools, such as crimpers and wire strippers.

- Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.

- Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.

- The primary focus will be spent wiring panels therefore it is imperative that candidate be proficient at wiring.

- Layout of components in various size cabinets.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

- A minimum of 1 year panel assembly experience

- High school diploma /GED

- Knowledge and experience with electrical wiring, control panels and instrumentation,

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
