Control Systems Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair all electrical and electronic equipment for the water treatment plant, booster stations, and water storage facilities. Assist with other facility and equipment installations and repairs as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Valid driver’s license.

- Specialized Technical Degree in Instrumentation, Industrial Electricity, or Industrial Maintenance.

- Two years of experience as an Instrument Technician and/or Industrial Electrician in an industrial plant or plant environment.

- The ability to understand ladder logic, Ethernet Communications, and IP addresses.

- Basic understanding of 4-20mA DC signals and interfacing with PLC controls.

- Must be able to obtain a Kentucky Class IVA Water Treatment License upon eligibility.

- Minimum of a Journeyman Commonwealth of KY Electrical License, with advancement to Master Electrician upon eligibility.

Physical and Work Requirements:

- Must participate in random drug testing program

- Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 100 lbs.

- Ability to work in varying weather conditions (hot and cold)

- Ability to work safely in environments with potential electrical, chemical, and mechanical hazards

- Ability to climb and work at heights of up to 200 feet

Schedule:

- 8-hour shift

- Monday to Friday

- On call

- Overtime

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.73 - $40.81 per hour
