About The Role

As a Commercial Contracts Manager, you will support the Commercial Operations team for the AP1000™ new plant, Advanced Reactor (AP300) and Energy Storage products within Energy Systems Team.

You will report to the Director - EPC Contract Development. This is a remote role.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop portions of new contracts, support commercial development of new plant offers, develop MOUs, teaming agreements and NDAs.

- Together with the Project Director, develop Terms and Conditions (working with Westinghouse Legal and outside counsel), costing, pricing, financing, insurance, performance guarantees, warranty, consortium and prime sub-models, global contract development.

- Support preparation of governance materials for offers.

- Work with Project Directors and Vice President of Commercial Contracts to engage with potential partners terms of teaming.

- Travel to global customer offices and project sites for contract negotiations.

- Support the development and negotiations of engineering and procurement (EP) contracts and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts for ES/New Nuclear Plant, Advanced Reactor and Energy Storage business segments. Ensure agreement on WEC Legal and other WEC organizations, such as supply chain, for terms and conditions flow downs. Hav a understanding of EP or EPC T&Cs and agreement with construction partners (as the case may be).

- Participate in complex, multi-party negotiations demonstrating in capturing, tracking, analyzing, and solving several commercial issues.

- Participate as an important member of the offer team for new plant offers where the opportunity requires the review of contract or commercial agreements. We ask that you understand operational, contractual and technical issues intrinsic to development of EP/EPC contracts in the nuclear industry.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in new plant EP/EPC contract development and negotiation. Technical and commercial project management skills.

Knowledge of the power industry contracts associated with engineering, operation, maintenance, construction, and supply chain.

5+ years of experience with project management, contractual negotiations. and related financial management tools.

Broad knowledge of products and all related engineering disciplines.

Experience with contract terms, ability to react to constantly changing situations and develop approaches to respond to situations in a manner favorable to WEC.

Degree in Engineering, Legal, Business or related discipline required; Experience in terms and conditions for EPC contracts is required.

Experience in Nuclear helpful.

JD degree coupled with business experience or engineering degree helpful

10 years of global commercial and contract development experience in progressively more responsible and varied assignments.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $130,400 to $163,000.
