Based out of Fort St. John, BC Hydro's Site C Project has a opening for students studying Engineering who would be
interested in contributing their knowledge and developing their abilities within the Site C team.
As a Co-op student, you will learn and experience:
- Practical, hands-on work experience directly related to Civil Engineering.
- Learning and training opportunities, including opportunities to network with your division.
- Learn all about other divisions and initiatives at BC Hydro.

- To qualify as a candidate, individuals must be enrolled and yet to graduate from a recognized post-secondary institution in
- Completed a minimum of 2nd year of Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering studies at an accredited university in
- The candidate should be excited and interested in gaining hands-on field experience in a number of BC Hydro's key
- Excellent communication skills, proficiency in Excel and ability to work independently.
- This position is based out of the location: Fort St. John, BC.
- A driver's license that allows them to drive in BC is required - Class 5 BC DL is required.

- Accommodation in BC Hydro’s Worker Accommodation are available based on rotation option selected. This will be a 14
on and 7 off rotation shift schedule.

Flexible work model role definitions:
Our four role types identify the degree of flexibility an employee could have to work from home based on the type of work
they do. The flexibility for an individual job is up to the manager for each position and the operational requirements.
Employees also have the right to work full-time from the office if they prefer. All of our roles require at least some in-person
time.
Resident – Works primarily (4+ days per week) in the office.
Hybrid – May be able to work from home up to 3 days per week.
Remote – Works from home 4+ days per week
