This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a career in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Working within a Team, this role supports the setup and operation of our CNC Multi-Tasking Lathes in producing critical metal and exotic material components for the Aerospace, Transportation and Medical industries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Set up and operate CNC Multi-Tasking Lathes with Fanuc controls
· Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
· Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job, ensuring accuracy and precise measurement
· Collaborate with the production team to determine optimal machining methods and sequences for each product
· Monitor machine operations, adjusting as necessary to ensure proper functioning and quality output
· Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines, identifying and resolving any issues to minimize downtime
· Perform quality control checks on finished products, using precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and specifications
· Maintain accurate records of production data, including setup time, cycle time, and quantities produced
· Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment
Pay scale: $30/hour - $40/hour - based on relevant work experience, skillset (set ups, programming) and industry knowledge.
· Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
· Perform set ups, modify programs, familiar with G Codes.
· Work as a reliable and accountable team member.
· Must be able to use hand tools, inspections tools.
· Ability to stand for long periods of time.
