CNC Mill Machinist - Day Shift

Afternoon Shift:

Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:30 pm

The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up and operating the CNC Mill machines as well as maintaining laser cutting machines.

Responsibilities:

- Independently set up and operate a variety of metal fabrication machines.

- Load and unload metal materials into the Doosan Mill and laser machine.

- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.

- Verify tool dimensions using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers and dial indicators.

- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

- Perform routine maintenance on the fabrication laser and the CNC Mill machine.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, keeping track of inventory levels and assisting in inventory management as needed.

- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Education and Training:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

- 4 years of experience in a operating CNC machines.

- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and equipment.

Physical Requirements:

- Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Note: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is eligible for a monthly bonus.
