Reata Engineering & Machine Works, Inc. (“Reata”),a technology-driven precision machining company located in Englewood, Colorado, is seeking an experienced CNC Integrex Machinist capable of performing full machine setups on Mazak Integrex multi-tasking machines.
This role is ideal for a machinist with strong mill-turn experience who can independently set up complex parts, troubleshoot machining issues, and produce precision components with tight tolerances in a high-precision environment.

As a Day Shift Integrex Setup Machinist, you will be responsible for performing complete setups on Mazak Integrex mill-turn machines, running first articles, and transitioning jobs into production.
You will review blueprints and CAD models, install tooling and workholding, set machine offsets, and ensure parts meet strict tolerance and quality requirements. This role plays a key part in producing complex multi-axis parts efficiently and accurately.
- Perform complete setups on Mazak Integrex mill-turn machines
- Install and qualify live tooling, workholding, and fixtures
- Load materials and set machine offsets
- Verify tool orientation and turret/live tool configurations
- Run first article parts and transition jobs into production
- Monitor machining processes to maintain tight tolerances
- Adjust feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters as needed
- Interpret complex blueprints and CAD models
- Apply GD&T requirements during setup and machining
- Maintain tight tolerance and surface finish requirements
- Perform first article and in-process inspections
- Use precision measuring instruments including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Bore gauges
- Thread gauges
- Indicators
- Ensure parts meet customer specifications and quality standards
- Identify opportunities to improve cycle times and machining efficiency
- Troubleshoot machining issues including tool wear, chatter, and process variation
- Work closely with engineering and programming teams
- Record job activity and production data in ERP systems
- Document scrap and corrective actions when necessary
- Comply with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, and ITAR requirements
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Monitor tooling wear and machine condition
- Report equipment issues when necessary- 5+ years CNC machining experience
- Strong experience with CNC mill-turn or multi-tasking machines
- Ability to perform complete setups independently
- Experience working with live tooling and multi-axis machining
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
- Experience holding tight tolerances
- Proficiency with precision inspection tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience with Mazak Integrex machines
- Experience with 5-axis or mill-turn machining
- Experience machining medical, aerospace, or defense components
- CAD/CAM experience (Esprit, Mastercam, or similar)
- Vocational training or CNC certification
