Summary
JMI is seeking for a proactive and detail-driven Customer Care Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll leverage your customer service experience to support our utility bill management operations, delivering top-tier service to our clients. Responsibilities
•Communicate effectively with customers, third-party suppliers, vendors and utility providers – both verbally and in writing in a clear and professional manner
•Provide outstanding customer support via phone, email, and chat.
•Resolve customer concerns efficiently by identifying issues, providing clear solutions, and ensuring follow-up for complete satisfaction
•Oversee and manage Client and vendor-facing operations related to utility bill management
•Deliver exceptional support on a range of topics including billing inquiries, account initiation and closures, disconnection notices and utility/vendor contract matters
•Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
•Maintain and update customer records and contact information with accuracy
•Utilize CRM systems and billing platforms to manage accounts and support issue resolution
•Identify patterns in customer and vendor issues and recommend process improvements to reduce recurring issues
•Contribute to special projects, as needed and assist with continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
•Proven experience in customer support or customer service roles (3-years in a customer-facing role)
•Associate's Degree Preferred
•Prior experience in the energy or utilities sector is a plus
•Outstanding attention to detail
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
•Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric attitude.
•Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
