Cement Pump Operator

Position Summary: Penn Mechanical Group is currently seeking an experienced Cement Pump Operator to assist with operations of the batch mixing cement truck and RCM pump truck for plugging abandon gas wells.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for coordinating aspects of the job with the company man on site.

- Operate a batch mixing pump truck or RCM pump truck.

- Load batch mixing truck or bulk trucks with proper sack count.

- Perform accurate cement calculations used to pump proper size plug or gel spacer.

- Obtain cement specific to proper formula per job.

- Utilize knowledge and previous experience to perform mechanical operation of pumps and proper maintenance of equipment.

- Clean equipment and pumps after each job.

- Follow directions from others on site.

- Safely and efficiently use equipment and tools necessary to the job.

- Maintain safe work habits and demands from customers.

- Drive to and from work sites safely and efficiently.

- Complete JSA’s before each job.

- Wear industry and company required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Skills and Abilities Required:

- Must be willing to work outdoors and occasionally in adverse weather conditions.

- Ability to drive a company vehicle.

- Must be willing to work weekends when required.

- Must be willing to work overtime.

- Must be willing to wear required Personal Protective Equipment.

- Must be willing to participate in safety training and meetings.

- Must be willing to work as part of a team.

- Possess ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.

- Possess ability to carry objects up to 50 lbs.

- Possess ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Required Qualifications and Experience: High School Diploma or GED

- Ability to pass a drug test

- Must have a Class A or B CDL with a good driving history

- Previous experience required
