Crow Precision Components, LLC (Crow) is a forge manufacturing company based in Fort Worth, Texas. Crow is a division of WHI Global, LLC, (www.whiglobal.com). Crow’s 98,000 square foot manufacturing facility operates 2 shifts; and its capacity includes 6 hammers, 12 hydraulic presses, and a screw press. Crow is NADCAP certified to perform Heat Treat and Non-Destructive Testing. Crow is ISO 9001 and AS 9100D certified.
This position Oversees a calibration program to include loading and monitoring calibration intervals into the company tracking system. Performs calibration of measuring and test equipment. Performs calibration and required monitoring of forge and heat treat furnaces.
Identify and rectify any issues with the operation of equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of observations and all identified quality issues.
- Communication will involve verbal discussions, Quality Assurance forms, or basic written memos / instructions.
Communicate and coordinate with outside vendors on items requiring third party calibration.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
A working command of the English language (verbal and written).
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus, but it is not required.
High school diploma or GED certificate is required.
- Trade school certifications are desired but not required.
Ability to work independently and closely follow directions.
Available to work weekends and overtime as may be required.
Capable of standing for extended periods of time.
Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling weights up to 50 pounds for short periods of time.
