Business Development Specialist II

TEN is currently seeking a Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) for the Pittsburgh, PA region to be responsible for securing contracts, cultivating customer relationships, and driving business opportunities. The Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for communicating TEN’s differentiators and value proposition and supporting the growth of our energy efficiency solutions business with public sector, higher education, healthcare, and commercial & industrial customers. The BDM will secure contracts by identifying and qualifying customer targets and using a consultative approach to selling business solutions that address client’s needs. The Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for uncovering opportunities, understanding customer drivers, and communicating client goals to TEN’s technical teams to develop solutions to align with client objectives. The Senior BDM will not have any vertical market or product restrictions and will report to TEN’s Senior VP of Business Development

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Responsibilities:

+ Direct selling to TEN’s target markets + Building relationships and securing business intelligence with suppliers, contractors and manufacturers' representatives + Creating TEN brand awareness at trade shows and industry conferences + Networking through organizational memberships, social engagements, community events, public board meetings, etc.
