Job Summary:
Business Development Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving growth and expansion for the company. This position is a professional who supports and coordinates with clients. They handle various tasks like scheduling regular meetings, researching and resolving client-raised issues, and maintaining high client retention rates. This position is responsible for identifying strategic opportunities, forging key partnerships, cultivating client relationships and driving revenue growth through new business initiatives. The role requires a professional with a deep understanding of the construction/real estate industry, exceptional strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills, must have exceptional communication skills and be able to present in front of large audiences.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company's objectives to achieve revenue and market share growth.
•Market Analysis: Analyze industry trends and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and threats. Stay informed about competitor activities and market shifts.
•Partnership Development: Establish and maintain relationships with potential partners, clients, and key stakeholders. Collaborate on mutually beneficial business ventures.
•Sales Growth: Lead in achieving revenue targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Foster a culture of sales excellence and customer satisfaction.
•Product and Service Expansion: Evaluate and recommend new product or service offerings that align with market demands and company capabilities.
•Mergers and Acquisitions: Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets or merger opportunities that complement the company's growth strategy.
•Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team, highlighting key performance metrics and progress toward growth goals.
Requirements and Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field or MBA.
•Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development, client development and relationship building.
•Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize growth opportunities.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
•Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve objectives.
•Results-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets.
•Ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment and make data-driven decisions.
•Willingness to travel up to 50% to establish and maintain business relationships.
