Job Description:
The Project Manager’s main responsibility is to manage all activities related to any assigned project(s) at Chattahoochee Construction Group in order to achieve project success and customer satisfaction to the highest level. The Project Manager must meet production, quality, budget, and customer service standards. The Project Manager will take responsibility for ensuring that projects are started & delivered on time and within budget.
Required Job Skills:
•Team Management – Must be able to successfully lead each assigned project team member with integrity, passion, positivity, and decisiveness to generate successful project and moral. Responsible for the coaching, mentoring, motivating, and overall management and development of all onsite field construction team members.
•Client Relationships – Develop, manage and enhance all client relationships through integrity and trust.
•Project Management – Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting, coordinating, and leading the overall management of the project through the use of project management tools, communication, meetings, and jobsite visits.
•Schedule Management – Create, update and communicate the Project Schedule to ensure its implementation.
•Contract Management – Cultivate a full understanding of Chattahoochee’s contract and subcontract agreements and have the ability to administer said agreements.
•Vendor and Subcontractor Management – Ability to solicit, coordinate, manage and lead a strong rapport to maintain/enhance relationships and accomplish project goals with outside vendors, suppliers and subcontractors/trade partners.
•Budget & Forecasting – Must be able to create and manage construction budgets to ensure the profit goals of each project are met.
•Means/Methods – Be knowledgeable and educated around the best means/methods to ensure best practices are carried out to achieve the most efficient and ergonomic processes.
•Bid Solicitation – Must have past experience in sending plans and specifications out to potential bidders in order to bid and price scopes and contract materials and work.
•Bookkeeping and Accounting – Must have the knowledge to work directly with construction bookkeepers and accountants to establish budgets and work through pay application and other financial processes to ensure timely and accurate payables and receivables.
•Design Team – Possess the ability to work closely with design teams in order to resolve conflicts and coordinate clarity or resolutions.
•RFI’s and Submittals – Manage by reviewing and expediting all RFI’s and Submittals by working closely and coordinating with design teams, subcontractors and field staff.
•Materials – Expediting the delivery of materials to jobsites.
•Permits – Coordinate the pulling of all permits with the city or governing municipality and follow all ordinances, requirements, and regulations.
•Change Orders – Management and approval of work that needs to be changed outside of the original scope in order to complete a project successfully and in budget.
•Issue Resolution – Participate in client/contractor meetings and manage the resolutions of project issues.
•Safety & Quality – Must lead the project to ensure the team complies with all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
•Reporting – Must keep project support team and executives informed via regularly scheduled meetings on the status of project milestones, budgets, and project forecasts.
•May perform other duties as assigned.

Required/Preferred Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, engineering, or related field.
•Minimum of 5 – 8 years of construction management experience
•Thorough expertise in scheduling, construction cost management, financial and accounting principles/systems, project management, and bidding, risk management
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Programs, Bluebeam, MS Project, and other necessary programs
•Must be willing to travel from time to time
