Alta Science & Engineering, Inc. is accepting applications from qualified candidates for a BD/Proposal Coordinator position. This position will support the capture of science and engineering consulting projects. The successful candidate must be a self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can work well both independently and as part of a fun, energetic team across multiple offices in the Northwest.

You Excel at:

•

Working with technical experts to produce compelling and graphically pleasing proposals.

•

Strategizing to improve and build on Alta’s marketing/BD ecosystem

•

InDesign/Graphics in collaboration with writing, editing, and proofreading.

•

Time management, motivation, and follow-through skills.

•

Handling multiple assignments and the judgement to reprioritize when warranted

•

Creativity in parallel with professional written and verbal communication skills.

•

Applying new trends and techniques for marketing

The Musts:

•

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience – preference in Journalism, PR, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Business, Science, or Engineering.

•

3-5 years of relevant marketing communications experience

•

Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite

•

Exceptional organization skills, able to prioritize tasks to meet simultaneous deadlines.

•

Proven graphic design experience.

•

Ability to follow and implement design standards.

•

Strong interpersonal and proactive communication skills

•

Sense of humor, patience, positive, and a collaborative spirit

•

Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.

The Wants:

•

Experience with social media and email marketing platforms

•

Experience with CRM tools

•

3+ years of related experience in the A/E/C consulting industry.

•

3+ years of marketing experience in a professional environment.

•

Experience with state and federal procurement processes preferred.

•

Experience with planning and executing trade show events.

•

Experience in proposal management within the A/E/C industry is preferred, specifically as a small business.

•

Experience with Microsoft Teams.

•

Experience with WordPress and Website updating software.

Responsibilities - including but not limited to:

•

Work with BD and marketing support staff.

•

Manage the tracking of leads, RFPs, SOQs, letters, SF330s, etc. to relevant internal team member materials.

•

Work with project teams to coordinate the life cycle of a pursuit from kick-off to delivery to include client and pursuit strategy, opportunity analysis, proposal development, and on-time submission of a compliant, on-brand, differentiated, winning proposals and presentations.

•

Develop and manage content (both written and graphics) for proposal presentations, qualifications and brochures, press releases, project descriptions, website, etc.

•

Execute campaigns and marketing tactics

•

Manage the editorial calendar, and create/curate content for external communication

•

Support Alta’s social media strategy

•

Capture our team and project through dynamic photography and videos to enhance our digital presence

•

Design and produce branded pieces, including infographics, large-scale graphics, and promo items

•

Coordinate and support special events

•

Coordinate with vendors and track marketing costs

•

Assist with data input to track client engagement in our CRM software

•

Lead and implement Alta’s conference participation including strategy, promotion of trade show/sponsorship events and similar business development/marketing activities

•

Maintain Alta’s registration with various client procurement sites/portals including GovWin and SAM

•

Coordinate with strategic partners and subcontractors during proposal and project capture planning

•

Facilitate the technical writing and convert technical material into organized, reader-friendly formats via proposal writing and content editing

•

Manage CRM and collaborate with appropriate team members

•

Serve as brand ambassador
