The resource will lead sales efforts to develop solutions and strategies for targeted growth opportunities in the Calgary market for CANUSA EPC’s industrial clients. The role will be measured on the ability to grow CANUSA EPC’s client base through various sales tools and engagements, lead proposal development with other internal resources, and facilitate the transition of sales opportunities to project execution. This position will be based out of Calgary. The resource, from time to time, may be required to travel to client sites, trade events, or training related to business activities.
- Participate in the sales process to identify clients, deliver CANUSA EPC’s value proposition, and align CANUSA EPC’s capabilities with client expectations.
- Create a value-selling approach for clients to generate business.
- Provide feedback from clients on previous engagements.
- Engage in marketing efforts to introduce CANUSA EPC to new clients, capture project successes for the company project portfolio, and support the brand messaging.
- Analyze engineered applications and determine the best target for CANUSA EPC based on market attractiveness, application needs, and the ability to differentiate the solution.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings.
- Manage sales opportunities from development to operations hand-off.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical understanding of engineering and construction services.
- Ability to develop commercial business proposals.
- Fluency with the Salesforce CRM platform, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.
- 5 years of experience in the energy industry of North America.
- Multiple years of business development experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Previous experience with engineering execution as an engineer or selling consulting services.
- International experience will be considered a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area (marketing, business, engineering).
- Requires a valid driver’s license.
- Requires a passport and eligible travel to/from Canada and USA.
- Oral communication—the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills, and conducts meetings.
- Written Communication—the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively, and can read and interpret written information.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
