We are seeking a more experienced analytical and results-driven Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise understanding of business processes, proficiency in data analysis and visualization, and a demonstrated ability to align stakeholders across functions to deliver measurable business outcomes.
This is an analytical position within the People Services business unit focused on improving business processes. It involves providing in-depth reporting of ongoing projects affecting the department, collecting and analyzing data to prioritize project work. The role supports project planning, implementation, and closure. Identifies process improvements and collaborates with staff to meet departmental goals with Public Relations, Human Resources, Safety and Risk, and Records Management Departments. This role reports directly to the Chief Engagement Officer.
1. Analyze safety and risk data such as Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, and Life Safety Equipment metrics to identify trends, assess organizational exposure, and support regulatory compliance through ongoing reporting.
2. Analyze Human Resources’ data to generate insights and recommendations that enhance employee performance, retention, and engagement, supporting organizational
effectiveness to include KPI’s.
3. Analyze communication data to assess effectiveness, optimize strategies, and enhance engagement across internal and external channels.
4. Analyze data for budget support by preparing reports, monitoring expenses, analyzing variances, and assisting with budget planning to align with organizational goals.
5. Analyze salary data and compensation requests to ensure internal equity, market competitiveness, and compliance with compensation policies.
6. Analyze training effectiveness, create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensure policies are current and compliant with organizational standards.
7.Manage project documentation, including requirements, plans, technical documents, and records management, while managing projects to ensure alignment with goals, timelines, and budgets.
8.Conduct data analysis on employment verification and unemployment claims to identify trends, assess risk, and ensure compliance with regulations.
9.All other duties as assigned.
Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain that required qualification would be:
1. Minimum of one year of work experience in technical or operational support of a large, complex business system database.
2.Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Class E Driver's License.
PREFERRED
1. A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
2.Experience with Smartsheet, Excel, and Power BI.
