The Business Analyst is the primary liaison between the business community, technology organization and external partners for all project requirements. As Business Analyst, you will be responsible for translating business objectives into business and technical requirements to achieve desired outcomes.
You will work closely with business teams on the design, development, and deployment of software applications. Our Business Analysts wear many hats on projects and are responsible for everything, from gathering, analyzing, documenting and communicating business needs and requirements, assisting in training and quality assurance. Responsibilities
•Support business and functional applications by analyzing and documenting processes and translating business objectives into clear technical requirements.
•Define acceptance criteria for user stories to guide development and testing.
•Partner collaboratively with cross-functional roles and in a shared ownership model to achieve outcomes.
•Work with vendors or partners to manage the successful integration of tools that power the customer experience.
•Consult with internal customers to identify, analyze, refine, and document business and functional requirements.
•Identify solutions and varied approaches that ensure the technical implementation meets business objectives.
•Perform business impact analysis and develop a risk mitigation strategy for system / process changes.
•Identify requirements for testing, develop test plans, and work with team members to develop test scripts.
•Participate in cross-functional project work; lead a variety of project activities.
•Work closely with software development and quality assurance teams.
•Review operational procedures and methods, map current & future business processes, define and analyze business activities, identify best practices, and recommend improvements.
•Support defect analysis and resolution.
Experience
•Minimum 3 years experience working as a Business Analyst or in a related field.
•ECBA, CCBA certification(s) preferred.
•Highly effective at eliciting requirements, interpretation and business process modeling
•A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of their area of specialization.
•History of supporting successful project launches.
•Proficient in Visio, Lucid, Azure Dev Ops, or similar a plus.
Preferred Experience
•Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholders, including an executive audience.
•Experience working with customer information applications, billing and/or voice recognition software is a plus.
•Facilitation experience working with vendors, business users, and customers.
•A background working with agile methodologies, including all agile ceremonies, and the demonstration of a "continuous improvement" mindset.
