SAK Construction has an opening for an experienced Business Development Analyst to join our growing team in St. Paul, MN. SAK is one of the fastest growing underground construction companies in the U.S. The Business Development Analyst has responsibility for coordinating efforts to support Business Development goals and objectives. Goals and objectives may include identifying and qualifying new sales leads, developing new business and/or expanding and strengthening current business or other responsibilities to support organizational strategies. Responsibilities:

Provide business development related support to the VP of Business Development and nationwide Business Development team.
Research and generate competitive market intelligence for analysis to support Business Development team via data mining of platforms such as GovSpend, OpenGov, etc. Dissemination of sales data leads and competitive market intelligence for the Business Development team.
Management of the company's “Project Mark” CRM to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and that data is up to date.
Manage the required State, City and County licensing needs for the SAK Companies and work in coordination with CSC (third party licensing company) in handling the licensing renewal process.
Update and maintain company-wide resumes of personnel (for prequalifications and proposals) and SAK letters of experience/recommendation documents.
Coordinate SAK tradeshow and industry event participation at the National, Regional and Local level. Maintain the annual tradeshow and conference schedule. Register the company, determine booth/exhibit location, shipment of booth displays and tradeshow giveaways as necessary.
Assist in development of marketing communications, tradeshow booth displays, advertising decisions, and spearhead the transmittal of these communications to customers.


Qualifications:

College degree with a concentration in business, sales, marketing, or other related fields.
Experience in data analysis, CRM management and sales/marketing.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development or Marketing Support with demonstrated success, preferably in a construction or municipal environment. A history of managing business development efforts directly or in a support manner for a large geographical territory is a plus.
Demonstrated strength in the following areas is mandatory:

a. Time management

b. Computer skills and Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) experience

c. Interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and communicate

d. Decision-making

e. Researching and evaluating market and competitive trends

f. Data analysis and sales lead dissemination
