Building Maintenance Worker

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for performing a variety of duties to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of our facilities. This is a vital role in our organization, as the Maintenance Person plays a key role in maintaining a safe and functional environment for our employees and customers.

Duties:

- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs

- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner

- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

- Supervise and coordinate external contractors for specialized repairs or projects

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment

- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders

Requirements:

- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, including knowledge of electrical, plumbing.

- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment

- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise maintenance staff if required

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
