Construction Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our farm operations team. This position supports on-farm construction projects including building, maintenance, employee housing and repair of agricultural facilities, infrastructure, and equipment areas. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys physical work, working outdoors, and being part of a team that takes pride in building and maintaining working facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with construction, repair, and maintenance of farm buildings, shops, corrals, fencing, and other structures

- Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, grading, concrete work, framing, and cleanup

- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

- Load and unload materials and supplies

- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, equipment operators, electricians, etc.) as needed

- Follow all safety guidelines and jobsite safety protocols

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Perform additional duties as assigned to support farm and construction operations

Qualifications

- Previous construction, farm, or labor experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)

- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions

- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Valid driver’s license preferred

Work Environment

- Mostly outdoor work in an active farm environment

- Seasonal weather conditions

- Construction sites may include uneven ground, livestock areas, and machinery

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
