Omaha technology company has an immediate opening for a full-time Bookkeeper/Accountant. We require someone with strong QuickBooks skills. We are looking for someone who is organized, accurate, schedule driven and has a positive, helpful personality. Position is in-office in West Omaha.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

This position will manage financials and provide bookkeeping and accounting for the company. We are looking for a thoughtful, independent professional with good judgment skills to plan, prioritize, and manage a diversified workload. We are interested in someone who values integrity as much as we do! The ideal person will be interesting, effective at communicating and working with customers and staff members. 5+ years of solid bookkeeping experience is required.

Essential Qualifications, Functions and Skills

- Solid Integrity and highly reliable, responsible, and motivated.

- A QuickBooks and Excel expert that will accurately manage and maintain our accounting records.

- Strong communication skills.

- Anticipate and meet process deadlines.

- Organize and prioritize information and tasks.

- Enjoys working with and analyzing data.

- Experience with Billing Operations is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities are typically in a weekly and monthly cadence; however, tasking and activities can change, so flexibility is key.

- Daily updates of our QuickBooks records and reports.

- Processing of AP and invoicing clients.

- Manage Cash Flow.

- Payroll and Payroll Tax Report filings.

- Work with our accountants to facilitate income tax return preparation

- Sales and Use tax report filings.

- Manage Daily Cash Deposits

- Weekly preparation of Financial Reports

- Skills with MS Office, including Word and Outlook.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
