Reporting to the Supervisor, Underground Mine, you will be part of the Mining Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

- Operate Maclean Bolter;

- Install ground support material according to engineering drawings and specifications;

- Perform daily equipment inspection;

- Inspect working environment by scaling rocks;

- Ensure health and safety requirements are met;

- Operate other equipment associated with the development or production category, as required;

- Obtain certification on other equipment associated to the development or production category, as required.

What You Need To Succeed

- Proven experience in ground support installation;

- Minimum of 4000 hours of experience on Maclean bolter equipment;

- NAC Certification or DEP in Mineral Extraction, or equivalent;

- Underground certification or equivalent, such as Mining Modules and Common Core are considered an asset;

- Mining engineering plan reading skills;

- Valid approval letter under the explosives regulations or equivalent, such as explosive permit;

- Certification on other equipment in the development category, such as Scissor lift, Development emulsion loader, and Production Scoop 12 yards are considered an asset.

Note that the official working language at our Meadowbank Complex is English.

- Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest;

- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
