YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Support the Cable Bolter Leader in the following:

- Operate bogey drill installed on a scissor deck equipment;

- Operate an air grout pump;

- Move and install drills following set drill patterns;

- Drill holes, install and grout cables according to engineering drawings and specifications;

- Perform daily equipment inspection;

- Inspect working environment by scaling rocks;

- Ensure health and safety requirements are met;

- Operate other equipment associated with the production category, as required;

- Obtain certification on other equipment associated to the production category, as required;

- Any other duties required by the supervisor.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

- Proven experience in cable bolt installation and grouting an asset;

- Minimum of 2000 hours of experience on bolter equipment;

- High School Diploma;

- NAC Certification or DEP in Mineral Extraction, or equivalent;

- Underground certification or equivalent, such as Mining Modules and Common Core;

- Mining engineering plan reading skills an asset;

- Valid approval letter under the explosives regulations or equivalent, such as explosive permit;

- Possess the physical requirements to perform the job;

- Possess a good work ethic, a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team;

- Experience working in a multicultural environment;

- Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (oral and written);

- Position reserved for Inuit Beneficiary candidates.
