located in the Kitikmeot Region, Nunavut. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various general labor tasks. MATRIX offers excellent career advancement opportunities and a challenging and supportive work environment.

- Perform general labor tasks according to safe work practices and procedures

- Assist with construction and assembly of various structures and facilities

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

- Assist with fuelling, snow removal, garbage incineration and other general site services tasks.

- Assist with camp maintenance, general janitorial and cleaning duties as required, as well as help with storage and packing of camp deliveries and luggage.

- Report any incidents or accidents immediately

- Participate in daily toolbox meetings

- Work effectively in a team environment

- Adhere to project schedules and deadlines

Job Requirements:

- Previous experience as a general laborer or similar role

- Must have previous camp experience. Exploration camp experience is a strong asset.

- Knowledge of construction tools and equipment

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as heavy lifting and manual labor

- Excellent work ethic and attention to detail

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Valid driver's license preferred

- WHMIS certification is an asset

- Standard First Aid certification is an asset

Day rate $350, based on 12 hour shifts

This position is working on a rotational 3 Weeks in 3 Weeks out schedule (Fully Remote).
