We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Billing Specialist to join our dedicated team in our Concord office. Duties•Process invoices for a specific product line, including identifying, documenting, and tracking fees for additional services and special pick-ups.
•Maintain active customer support for the AR Department which includes sending out invoices and answering customer related invoice questions.
•Receive, research, and respond to difficult or complex billing inquiries.
•Filing processed invoices, help with digital file management
•Phone Backup, helping to answer calls when front office is busy.
•Answer questions regarding billing, billing related issue resolution which includes processing corrections to invoices.
•Maintain the accuracy and integrity of customer data within our billing database (MLS).
•Become cross trained in other lines of business to help become backup support
•Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE:
Three years of increasingly responsible experience in customer service and/or billing process, or a combination of education and/or experience which provides an equivalent background required to perform the work.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred but not required.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS•Proven experience in a billing or accounts receivable role, with a strong understanding of billing procedures.
•Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle complex and sensitive billing inquiries with patience and professionalism.
•High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Access) and the ability to quickly learn new database systems like MLS.
•Excellent data entry skills with a strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
•Strong math, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully in a team environment.
WORK SCHEDULE & ENVIRONMENT:
•On-site presence is required to fulfill the duties of this position
•Monday through Friday, hours to be determined.
