We are looking for a Benefits/HR Analyst
As a Benefits/HR Analyst working in our Pittsburgh Office this role will be an important representative of the company, contributing to the Human Resources strategies, policies, and guidelines. Your responsibilities will include providing professional and technical support for the administration of ArcelorMittal Tubular Products’ health, welfare, and retirement benefit programs – specifically, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and AD&D, Disability, and Retirement Plans. Our employee benefits and human resources areas will provide an opportunity for partnering with our team to help manage and administer our HR programs across the North American Tubular Products business. Position reports to the Supervisor, Benefits and Retirement.
Main Accountabilities
•Provide general assistance and support in the administration of HR and Benefits related processes and projects.
•Preparation and processing of monthly vendor invoicing and premium payments and maintain accurate and complete records of all vendor invoicing and reporting.
•Assist with preparation of benefits materials.
•Support the development and maintenance of following electronic enrollments: new hire, life, event, work event, annual OE, and periodic benefit enrollments.
•Update enrollment configuration within Dayforce.
•Develop and produce reporting within Dayforce as necessary for vendor census requests.
•Review and reconcile discrepancies identified by our health insurers after processing our weekly enrollment and eligibility files.
•Work with our TPA in the administration of these retiree programs: Retiree medical for legacy groups, Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA), and life insurance. Maintain all retiree reporting.
•Assist with 401K administration.
•Assist with the administration of the annual wellness programs for various employee groups.
•Oversight of the Motus Car Allowance program and monthly billing process.
•Prepare and coordinate distribution of Summary Annual Reports.
•Prepare Annual EEO-1 Reporting.
•Maintain and update the Benefits Procedures Manual, as necessary and other duties as assigned.
Must-haves for the Benefits/HR Analyst Position
•Bachelor's degree in relevant area from an accredited college or university preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
•3 to 5 years of experience working in employee benefits and human resources required.
•Working knowledge of the design, operation, and legal requirements of 401(k) plans, self-insured medical plans, and other welfare benefits required.
•Working knowledge of laws on benefits and compensation required.
•Exposure and experience with a union group required.
•Requires financial aptitude, strong detail orientation, good verbal and written communication skills, independent and self-motivated individual, dependable.
•Professional certification(s) desired in any of the job-related functional areas a plus, i.e., Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS).
•Software: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams required.
•Experience with the Dayforce payroll and benefits platform strongly preferred.
•Ability to collaborate with team members and business sites in a shared services environment.
