HR Analyst, Ethics

Position Highlights
Reporting to the Director, Business Ethics & Workplace Conduct, the HR Analyst contributes to the Ethics Office’s strategic
and operational goals. As a service-oriented and proactive team member, the analyst thrives in a dynamic environment with
a diverse range of responsibilities, including analytics and reporting.
What you'll do
•Extracting and analyzing data from the case management, HR and Training systems and preparing simple to complex
reports that support the quarterly, annual and ad hoc reporting responsibilities.
•Identifying relevant ethics metrics and preparing reports and dashboards, to demonstrate program utilization.
•Tracking and maintaining case management logs and project plans to ensure timely and effective case management and
striving towards project completion.
•Maintaining and continuously improving the case management system from problem identification to implementing
solutions to expand analytics and reporting of the Ethics Office.
•Conducting research on relevant topics and best-practices and prepares analysis to support the team’s tactics, strategy
and decision making.
•Problem-solving through a combination of research, analysis and the proactive development of options and
recommendations.
•Creating communications materials and resources to ensure awareness of Ethics Office programs and services and
supporting the roll-out of these communications.
•Maintaining and updating Ethics Office webpages, resources and forms using SharePoint such as Hydroweb and
associated applications.
•Building and maintaining working relationships with internal stakeholders that champions our departmental priorities.
•Partnering with Ethics Office team members to respond to inquiries, including monitoring shared inboxes, as requested.
•Producing virtual training sessions as required.
•Assisting with administrative duties to ensure timely and accurate processing.
What you bring
•An undergraduate degree, diploma, or certificate in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline, or an equivalent
combination of education and experience may be considered.
•A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant HR or Business experience.
•Experience working with a case management system and a Human Resources Information System (HRIS). XRM with a
HR focus, SAP/SuccessFactors Learning would be an asset.
•Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, including Excel (e.g., advanced formulas and functions), Word, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with MS365 Cloud Services (e.g. MS Forms) is an asset.
•Strong research, analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required, with the ability to interpret data,
synthesize analysis and recommend practical, relevant solutions.
•Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to be flexible and creative.
•Strong client service orientation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working
relationships.
•Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) demonstrated in the ability to synthesize data into clear reporting.
•Experience with web authoring using SharePoint (e.g. - Hydroweb and associated applications).
•A proven ability to manage confidential materials with diplomacy and tact.
•Experience delivering virtual training sessions is an asset.
