A day in the life:
•Administration of employee benefits (take lead on some tasks and assist with others – i.e., enroll teammates with carriers, process life status changes, assist with claims issues and plan changes, determine eligibility, distribute enrollment information and materials, Open Enrollment)
•Administer workday demographics and benefits files
•Administration of FMLA, other leaves of absence, and requests for short term and long disability
•Respond, resolve, and answer benefits, employee information, or payroll related questions
•Administer medical, dental, and disability insurances (Short & Long Term), 401K, HSA
•Cross-train on payroll processing
•Administration of miscellaneous employee information processes within HCM (i.e. employee changes, personal information, etc.)
•Perform quality checks of employee information and benefits-related data
You should have:
•Proven experience in customer support roles with strong interpersonal skills
•Proficient in data entry with attention to detail
•Ability to type efficiently while maintaining accuracy
•Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
•Experience with time entry, payroll, personnel, and/or benefits
•Excellent administrative, planning, and organizational skills
•Proficiency with technology to include Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Internet researching, and Accounting, Payroll, and HR software
•Analyze, assess, apply logic, and understand data, situations/risk, and potential outcomes, seeks to understand why
