Under the direction of the Benefits Manager, the Benefits Coordinator is responsible for operational tasks associated with servicing the health and welfare plans, the defined benefit pension plan and the defined contribution plan in compliance with plan provisions and administrative policies. The Coordinator interfaces with employees and vendors to ensure that optimal service is provided and that procedures are in conjunction with current plan documents, policies and regulations.
•Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 2 years related experience or 5 years related professional experience in lieu of a degree
•Advanced knowledge of all health and welfare plans, defined contribution and defined benefit plans
•Basic knowledge of COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, ERISA, ADA and ADAAA in relation to leave of absence
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint with an emphasis on Excel VLookup and Pivot Tables
•Ability to apply mathematical skills to problem solving
•Ability to work in a team environment
•Professional presence with the ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels in the organization
•Creative approach to identifying, analyzing and resolving problems
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•High integrity and discretion to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Degree in HR related field
•Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud

•Responsible for administering Health and Welfare Programs and Retirement Programs including eligibility and coverage issues. Plans include medical, dental, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability, leave of absence, defined benefit and defined contribution.
•Assures employees' questions and issues are addressed in a timely and accurate manner.
•Process benefits exceptions, manual enrollments and life events. Coordinates written correspondence requesting additional information as needed.
•Audit and process of weekly claims payment to vendors.
•Assists with benefit orientations for new hires and open enrollment.
•Submits all tickets associated with HCM & Portal Issues.
•Maintenance of Nabors Net Documents.
•Participates in all Testing as needed with TPA’s and IT.
•Participates in all Testing of System Upgrades and/or Conversions.
•Coordinates & oversees mail-outs of benefits material as needed.
•Create/maintain benefits procedures manual.
•Answers the incoming calls for the Benefits Help Desk and monitors the benefits email inbox and ticketing system answering applicable questions and escalating issues as needed.
•Completes ongoing review of new hire/rehire enrollments, as well as employee transfers.
•Completes the Qualified Medical Child Support Orders weekly in accordance with state regulations.
•Provides assistance reviewing and preparing ongoing benefit communication material.
•Assists with open enrollment activities including benefits fair.
•Works with various department members to assure quality and accuracy of benefits programs.
•Works with third party benefits vendors to ensure accuracy of all employee benefits enrollments.
•Perform other related duties including special projects as needed.
