AutoCAD Drafter

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise and comprehensive technical drawings and schematics using industry-standard CAD software. Your expertise will support various construction, civil, mechanical, and architectural projects by translating concepts into accurate digital models and drawings. Duties

- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, SketchUp, MicroStation, and other CAD tools to meet project specifications and standards

- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and produce accurate schematics and technical documentation

- Create construction documents, site plans, elevations, sections, and mechanical layouts with precision and clarity

- Utilize NavisWorks for clash detection and coordination of complex building or infrastructure models

- Generate detailed mechanical design drawings and assemblies using SolidWorks or similar software

- Assist in preparing visual presentations including 2D animations to effectively communicate design ideas

- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements while maintaining version control

- Support the review process by making revisions based on feedback and updating CAD files accordingly

Experience

- Proven experience in drafting within construction, civil engineering, architecture, or mechanical design environments

- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; familiarity with Civil 3D, Revit, SketchUp, NavisWorks, MicroStation, and SolidWorks is highly desirable

- Strong understanding of schematics, technical specifications, and drafting standards

- Experience creating detailed construction documents and working with multidisciplinary teams

- Knowledge of 2D animation techniques for project presentations is a plus

- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and translate them into accurate digital models

- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams
