AutoCad Draftsman (SolidWorks Specialist)

About the Role:

CMI Limited is seeking an experienced Draftsman with strong SolidWorks skills to join our team. This role is heavily focused on producing a large volume of accurate drawings for aluminum fabrication projects including docks, gangways, piers, and railings.

What You’ll Do:

- Create detailed SolidWorks and AutoCAD drawings for fabrication projects

- Collaborate with engineers, sales, and fabrication teams to meet project deadlines

- Maintain CAD standards and consistent drawing formats

- Provide drawing support for estimates and technical needs

What We’re Looking For:

- 4+ years of SolidWorks drafting experience (required)

- AutoCAD experience a plus

- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high drawing volume

- Knowledge of CAD standards and fabrication shop drawings

- Mechanical Engineering Technology Degree

Preferred: CAD certification, experience in aluminum fabrication or marine construction
