The AutoCAD Drafter will be responsible for the following:

Job summary:

The CAD Drafter will include all views and dimensions necessary for our valued customers. Makes copies of drawings and maintains information regarding changes to the database.

Qualifications:

- Experience using Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.

- 2 years of experience in AutoCAD/Drafting use preferred.

- Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.

- Able to prioritize and coordinate multiple daily tasks and work within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

- Uses computer assisted design/drafting equipment and software to develop designs.

- Make a final sketch of the proposed drawing of various parts to the whole structure or project.

- Utilizes knowledge of various equipment, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials and other physical sciences to complete drawings.

- Drafts detailed multi-view drawings of equipment.

- Draws finished designs from sketches.

- Updates Drafting and Engineering Standards.

- Sets up and maintains an organized file system for drawings.

- Converts existing production drawings to SolidWorks.

- Utilize computer aided design & drafting software to draw pipelines and equipment.

- Determine the proper equipment configuration.

- Efficiently manage and correct execution of the job from start to finish.

- Performs other job duties as assigned.
