Job Summary
The Auto Press Operator is responsible for maintaining the flow of production while monitoring for quality. In addition, He/she will be responsible for the transfer of finished products into the proper containers for the next phase of production.
- Operates press safely and accurately, meeting daily production goals.
- Follows company guidelines and procedures to meet manufacturing specifications.
- Alerts die setter and/or production supervisors of any manufacturing defects immediately.
- Performs periodic quality checks.
- Works together as a team with other press operators to maintain production.
- Keeps work area clean and organized.
- Utilizes personal protective equipment at all times to ensure safety.
- Upholds all safety policies and procedures.
- Is reliable and punctual in reporting for work as scheduled.
- Always maintains professionalism.
- Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Resilient with a positive attitude
- Self-motivated and solid work ethic
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
- Frequent standing, pushing and pulling
