Associate, Tax Clerk

The Associate, Tax Clerk is responsible for organizing and maintaining company documents and records, ensuring they are easily accessible and properly stored. This role involves both physical and digital file management, as well as supporting various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within the office.

Responsibilities May Include:

Develop and maintain an efficient filing system for both paper and digital documents.

Collect documents from various departments and ensure they are properly filed.

Label and update paper files and digital records.

Digitize hard copies of documents and ensure they are stored securely.

Troubleshoot office equipment such as computers, printers, fax machines, scanners, and shredders.

Call for maintenance and repairs of office equipment as needed.

Answer phone calls and emails regarding documentation organization.

Photocopy and send faxes as required.

Sort, deliver, pick up, and send mail.

Maintain supply inventories.

Prepare expense reports.

Process payments and deposit checks.

Required Qualifications:

Legally authorized to work in job posting country

High school diploma or equivalent

Good written and oral communication skills

Prior experience in a similar role is preferred

Proficiency in MS Office and office equipment

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Good command of English, both oral and written

Dependable and able to follow policies and confidentiality guidelines
