Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Associate Accountant to support key accounting functions and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This position will focus on accounts payable, intercompany transactions, vendor compliance, and provide essential support for payroll and HR-related processes. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting, excellent follow-through, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment while applying sound judgment and critical thinking to everyday challenges.
· Process and enter accounts payable invoices accurately and on time
· Manage vendor compliance documentation, including tracking certificates of insurance and other required forms
· Create, track, and reconcile intercompany accounts receivable transactions
· Assist with payroll processing and employee time tracking
· Maintain accurate PTO balances and track approvals
· Support onboarding by organizing and processing new hire documentation
· Provide assistance to site teams for HR-related reporting such as injury reports and other compliance needs
· Help maintain organized employee records and ensure documentation accuracy
· Collaborate with the finance and HR teams to ensure deadlines and reporting requirements are met
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, or related field preferred
· 1–2 years of experience in an accounting support role
· Familiarity with payroll processes and HR documentation
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other basic office software; experience with accounting systems a plus
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
