JOB SUMMARY: The District Administrator is responsible for planning and overseeing all administrative support and office services for the Grande Prairie District. This includes purchase orders, reception duties, shipping and receiving, supplies and stationery, health regulations, and general troubleshooting.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Understand and adhere to all Tier 1 Energy Solutions (Tier 1) policies and procedures, furthermore, understand and adhere to any client’s policies and procedures.
•Morning reporting for Wireline division (DAR and Wireline Dar Report);
•Daily Tier1 tickets with data entry into Revenue Sheet;
•Administer and manage inbound/outbound mail, including priority post, packages, courier services, and other correspondence;
•Answer and manage inbound telephone inquiries;
•Ensure adequate supplies of office stationery, general office supplies, office furniture, and other equipment;
•Communicate the organization’s safety policies in accordance with applicable federal safety standards and local laws;
•Collaborate with inventory planning personnel to minimize shortages and improve inventory holdings;
•Assist QHSE with safety tickets in Bistrainer;
•Enter monthly driver reports in Motive;
•Monitor inbound/outbound shipping and receiving;
•Creation and distribution of purchase orders within SAP Business 1;
•Assisting finance within head office with tasks required;
•Place coverall / parka orders;
•Any other duties required by management.
Knowledge and Skills:
•Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering, as well as inventory control of these items;
•Experience in managing third-party service providers;
•Strong knowledge of software systems, as well as Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
•Able to maintain filing systems, databases, and basic diary/minutes management;
•Knowledge of local and federal regulations and ordinances;
•Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
•Meticulous records maintenance skills;
•Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills;
•Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its executive team;

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
•Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals;
•Frequent sitting, bending, twisting and standing;
•Looking at a monitor for up to 8 hours a day;
•Talk on the phone for the majority of the day.
Educations, Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
•GED, College certificate, diploma or university degree in business administration, or an acceptable combination of education and experience;
•2+ years of direct work experience in an office or facility management capacity;
Qualifications:
•2+ years of similar work-related experience;
•Oil and gas experience an asset;
•Results from a pre-employment test must be deemed acceptable in accordance to Tier 1’s policies;
•Results from a background check must be deemed acceptable in accordance to Tier 1’s guidelines;
•Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Pay: $18.35-$25.00 per hour
