Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and eager Assistant Quality Manager to join our dynamic team. This position is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the Quality manufacturing industry. As an Assistant Quality Manager, you will work under the guidance of the Quality Manager, developing your skills in various areas including quality inspection. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow within a supportive environment.
Duties:
• Overseeing and verifying the inspection activities all manufacturing
departments.
•Provides inspection training to employees who are responsible for receiving
or in-process inspection.
•Must follow quality system policies and procedures.
•Performs other duties and projects that may be assigned from time to time by
the Quality Manager.
Requirements:
•Must have a minimum of three years’ experience in Quality Management.
•The ability to read, write and speak the English language fluently and coherently.
•Must be able to follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
•The ability to write reports and fill out forms.
•Must have the ability or the willingness to learn the application of statistical techniques.
•The Assistant Quality Manager must be computer literate with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
•Must have the ability to train employees in inspection techniques.
•The ability to train, calibrate, and use common measuring equipment/tools.
Measures of Performance:
•The departments’ over-all ability to maintain the quality standards of the company.
•The ability to manage/direct the efforts of the personnel reporting to this position.
•The quality of work performed by the department.
•Training and assisting of all the machine operators as it pertains to Inspection.
•The ability to work with their peers, all employees and management.
•Timeliness of submitting reports as required.

Pay: $75,000/Year
Expected hours: 7:00 AM/5:00 PM (5 Days)
