Description:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for but not limited to:
•Leading the efforts of the organization to ensure compliance to the Company quality policy and industry standards;
•Providing leadership to develop and implement the quality policy and procedures.
•Managing the quality process for the entire product line from supplier to customer
•Driving continuous improvement projects to enhance the effectiveness of the Quality Management system.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Appointed by Top Management as the Management Representative
•Ensure that the processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained to meet the Company QMS, API Q1 and API Product Certifications (where required)
•Promote the awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization
•Ensure compliance to quality policy, standards and requirements
•Communicate quality standards and expectations to employees and suppliers
•Manage internal / external audits and corrective / preventive action processes
•Lead, coach, and ensure the career development of the Quality team
•Ensure the initiation of actions to minimize the likelihood of the occurrence of nonconformities
•Responsible for Continuous Improvement projects to improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System, associated processes, key metrics, cost of non-conformances, and in turn enhancing customer satisfaction
•Develop measurement systems and ensure effectiveness of the systems
•Track, analyze, interpret quality data and report to Top Management on the effectiveness of the Quality Management System and any need for improvement
•Participate in FMEA, Risk Mitigation, Process Control Plans and problem-solving projects
•Purchasing of goods and services that support FPC’s operational needs
TOOLS, EQUIPMENT AND MACHINES:
•Various office equipment,
•Computer hardware and computer software applications
•Measuring tools and calibration software
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
•High School diploma or GED required
•Bachelor’s degree in technical field preferred, but not required
•ASQ Certification preferred but not required
•In depth knowledge of API Q1 required
•Demonstrate the ability to lead and positively influence direct reports, as well as others
•Demonstrate a professional and positive attitude as well as a passion for developing others
•Experience or trained and found competent in FPC’s Purchasing Process
