· Maintain meticulous property records including lease agreements, maintenance logs, and tenant communications
· Proactively inspect properties to identify and address potential maintenance or compliance issues
· Ensure all tenant interactions, notices, and legal documents are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulations
· Collect rent and reconcile payments with a high degree of accuracy; follow up promptly on delinquencies
· Screen prospective tenants using a thorough background and credit check process
· Schedule and oversee repairs, maintenance, and vendor services with close attention to timelines and quality
· Manage lease agreements, renewals, rent increases, and compliance tracking with strong organizational systems
· Maintain high standards for property cleanliness, functionality, and overall presentation
· Monitor lease terms and proactively manage expirations and renewal processes
· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
· Previous experience in property management or a similarly detail-critical role
· Proficiency with property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi) and Microsoft Office Suite
· Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
· Knowledge of local, state, and federal property laws and regulations
· High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Property Management Certification (CAM, CPM, or similar) a plus
