Description
The Property Manager will be responsible for project management of turnovers and property remodels, coordinating maintenance repairs, providing customer service and interfacing with owners and tenants, marketing and leasing vacancies and performing property inspections.
•Manage Burns & McDonnell properties in the Kansas City area.
•Supervise the daily operations of maintenance engineers, security contractor and janitorial service provider.
•Bid and manage building improvement projects, contract administration for security, janitorial, HVAC services, landscaping, life/safety equipment, roofing repairs, snow removal, pest control, utility services and elevators.
•Tenant contact for all service, maintenance and lease issues.
•Prepares budgets, financial reports and responds to owner's requests for information.
•Determine departmental objectives and requirements, organizing projects and developing standards and guidelines.
•Support and assist in the development of a department business plan.

•Attend project meetings when requested by division.
•Develop department tools and work flows to increase efficiency of designs, specification development, and project execution.
•Responsible for quality assurance for all formatting and editing to ensure accuracy, persuasiveness, and compliance of final proposal and presentation documents.
•Develop and present interview materials with pursuit teams.
•Present at professional associations, conferences and build professional network.
•Train and mentor less experienced staff.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
•Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
•High School Diploma/GED and 12 years managing corporate facilities is required.
•Experience with contract administration and negotiation for corporate facility services.
•Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills required.
•Previous management experience is preferable.
•Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
•Position requires the ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and manage change.
•Candidates must possess strong project management skills and a strategic perspective.
