Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Office Manager to assist with the management of daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative functions of an office environment with experience in payroll, book keeping and accounts payable/receivable. This role is essential for ensuring smooth operations, effective communication, and optimal team performance within the organization.
- The primary functions of this position are
- Full cycle accounting including payroll
- Preparing and submitting invoices
- Government and Union remitting
- Providing direction and training to administrative assistant
- Delegate and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Manage payroll processes and assist with human resources tasks.
- Organize schedules, manage calendars, and coordinate appointments for team members.
- Ensure proper filing systems are in place for efficient document retrieval.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and communication.
- Proven experience in book keeping, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Experience with database management.
- Experience in human resources functions including payroll processing.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and clients.
