Position Summary

Take ownership for Power Generation (PG) Reporting and associated system support to include programming, troubleshooting, and enhancements as required. Also, responsible for documenting and developing procedures. Provides analytical support and reports for various projects, programs and portfolios to project managers, program/project team leaders and other internal and external stakeholders as assigned.

Tasks And Responsibilities

- Utilize reporting solutions (Crystal Reports, Tableau, Alteryx) or preferred application to develop and support PG business information requirements through reports/webpages/dashboards and databases

- Develop automated web pages, reports, emails, dashboards and update databases as needed

- Support PG Management and business teams with reports and content as needed

- Collaborate with PG partners including Contracts, Work Management, Operations etc. defining report requirements and capabilities

- Analyze generated reports and provide feedback to support results as required

- Monitor automated report infrastructure to ensure successful operation

- Support testing as requested during system updates and upgrades

- Assist with maintaining servers and databases associated with PG reporting

Minimum Skills

Minimum Knowledge and Abilities

Programmer/analyst experience in a field supporting and providing technical and analytical solutions.

Relative experience in program/project management for Operational Units.

Extensive knowledge of programmer/analyst experience in a field supporting and providing financial and operational solutions.

Experience working with moderately complex data.

Understands processes and procedures in specialized field.

Exceptionally strong analytical and problem solving abilities.

Ability to multi-task various critical work assignments in a fast-paced environment in a professional manner.

Ability to effectively manage sensitive and confidential information.

Initiative to work independently or as a member of a team, coordinating with others to achieve desired results.

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills for interaction with all levels of personnel.

Ability to meet goals and objectives with minimal direct supervision.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to work in a variety of locations such as the field, construction centers and the main office.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Package, including word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software, electronic mail and scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Data Visualization software and techniques

- Experience with server-based report scheduling solutions

- Experience with data mining, trend analysis, & data analytics

- Experience with Enterprise Maintenance Management Solution

- Experience with the electric or gas utility

- Experience with Microsoft Excel

- Experience with industry accepted reporting solution such as Crystal Reports, Alteryx, or Tableau

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Math, the Natural Sciences, or other quantitative field from an accredited university or related area; proven working experience may be used in lieu of degree

Required Certifications Working Environment

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. Operating computer, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator.

Employee may potentially be exposed to hazardous chemicals, wet or humid conditions, outdoor weather, noisy and dusty environment. Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business related events.

Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business-related events. After hours work may be required. Works various fluctuating schedules to include rotating shift work, call duty, extended hours and weekends.

Physical Demands

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
