Your contribution!
Reporting to the Director - Financial Planning and Analysis, you will participate in the production and analysis of management, financial and operations documents to support the teams in their decision-making.
Your day-to-day!
- Participate in the production of monthly management, financial and operational reports to support operations in their decision-making;
- Support the coordination of the annual budget process with corporate, business units and shared services;
- Participate in the consolidated financial forecasting process and prepare the associated documentation on a monthly basis;
- Maintain and improve financial models, ensuring their accuracy and relevance;
- Use technology systems to streamline reporting processes and increase efficiency;
- Perform a variance analysis, comparing actual performance with budgeted/planned results, and explain the main discrepancies;
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators and financial metrics, providing management with information for decision-making;
- Support the preparation of active projects within the team and provide analysis on request;
- Act as super-user for the development of reports enabling the liberalization of information to the various departments.
- 1 to 3 years' relevant experience, e.g. in a listed Corporation or in corporate finance;
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics;
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) an asset;
- Experience in a company with multiple corporations;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent ability to focus, work under pressure with tight deadlines and changing priorities;
- Be rigorous, resourceful and pragmatic;
- Ability to synthesize and analyze;
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills;
- Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written) required to ensure collaboration with various stakeholders outside Quebec on a recurring basis.
- The position is based in the company's Longueuil (Quebec) headquarters, steps away from the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke metro station.
- This position is a P1 level.
