Prevalon Energy is seeking a dynamic Data Analyst who will analyze complex datasets, identify market and customer trends, and support the development of AI-driven tools to enhance sales and business decision-making. This role is essential to equipping our sales and leadership teams with actionable insights, refining data processes, and advancing AI-powered tools and workflows.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Gather, clean, and analyze market data from multiple sources, including WoodMac, Volatility, and other databases, to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the energy storage industry.
- Deliver recurring pricing benchmarks, competitive tracking packages, market trend decks, and WoodMac-based “standard market summaries” for internal use.
- Develop and maintain data-driven reports and dashboards for sales and leadership teams, ensuring insights are accessible and actionable.
- Support lead targeting, customer prioritization models, and pipeline development via structured market mapping and financial/organizational research.
· AI Tool Development and Data Integration
- Develop and maintain AI agents, improve training data quality, and lead the integration of structured datasets into Prevalon’s AI ecosystem.
- Build data pipelines for AI, implement taxonomy structures, document tagging, and metadata rules to support customer portal search functionality.
- Work with engineering, sales, and marketing to ensure AI tools support BESS use cases, customer discovery, and project intelligence.
- Evaluate AI output accuracy, create validation workflows, and design long-term data governance for AI-based insights.
- Own CRM data quality—including close dates, COD timelines, project attributes, deal probability, and customer hierarchy mapping.
- Triangulate CRM leads and accounts with Voltility, IIR, interconnection queues, financial databases, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Build complete customer intelligence files—organizational charts, financial backers, technology stack, historical projects, and pipeline visibility.
- Support data migration and structure for the new customer portal, including taxonomy design and document tagging for all Prevalon assets (spec sheets, proposals, PPTs, technical content).
- Synthesize complex datasets into clear, concise insights to guide the sales team’s decision-making processes using AI-generated insights, customer segmentation, and market opportunity scoring.
- Create presentations and reports to highlight market opportunities, customer trends, and emerging challenges.
- Act as a resource for sales teams, providing ad hoc analysis and responding to data-related inquiries.

- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and data management best practices.
- Experience working with AI technologies or chatbot development is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of energy storage markets or renewable energy is a bonus.
