Work Schedule: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.

Summary/Objective
To support data-driven decision-making across Warren County Water District by working closely with teams across IT, operations, engineering, finance and administration to deliver high-impact analytics and visualizations.
This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving problems through data, and is passionate about building dashboards and reports that enable users at all levels of the organization to make informed decisions.
The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mind, technical proficiency in data tools, and the ability to communicate effectively.

- Build, maintain, and publish dashboards and reports using Power BI to support real-time and historical analysis.
- Use SQL and Python to query, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from various systems (SCADA, GIS, ERP, CIS, etc).
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Systems Analyst and internal stakeholders to understand business questions, define reporting requirements, and translate data into meaningful insights.
- Use RESTful APIs to connect, synchronize, or automate data flows between enterprise systems.
- Assist with forecasting, trend analysis, and basic predictive analytics to support planning efforts (e.g., predictive maintenance, water usage analytics, asset condition indicators).
- Automate recurring reports and develop self-service analytic tools to empower business users.
- Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems; provide input on data definitions and data modeling best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting workflows, and tool adoption through better use of data.
- Promote data literacy and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Maintain documentation of data sources, definitions, and business logic.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python and Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and system integrations; familiarity with SOAP-based web services is a plus.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
- Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests and manage competing deadlines.

- Primarily office-based with collaboration across departments.
- Must be available for occasional after-hours work to support reporting deadlines, system changes, or data refresh issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or systems integration role.
- Demonstrated experience using Power BI or a comparable business intelligence platform.
- Experience working with large datasets and managing report logic and refresh processes.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR certification upon employment.
